Behentrimonium Chloride is a highly effective conditioning agent derived from rapeseed oil. It provides excellent detangling, slip, anti-frizz, and softening benefits in haircare formulations.

It is the key ingredient used in conditioners, deep masks, leave-ins, and detangling creams, giving hair a smooth, silky feel without heavy buildup.

Usage Rate

1% – 10% depending on product type:

Rinse-off conditioners: 2–6%

Deep conditioning masks: 4–10%

Acidic pH gives best conditioning performance
