Shikimic Acid Powder

Shikimic Acid is a gentle next-generation exfoliating active derived from natural plant sources (such as star anise). It provides mild keratolytic action similar to AHAs but with far less irritation, making it suitable for sensitive, acne-prone, and uneven-textured skin.

It helps smooth the skin, refine pores, brighten the complexion, and improve overall clarity. It is ideal for serums, toners, gel creams, and leave-on exfoliating products.

Usage Rate:

0.5% – 5%

0.5–2% → mild daily exfoliating products

2–5% → stronger resurfacing serums or toners

pH Range:

Works best at pH 3.5 – 6

More exfoliating at lower pH (3.5–4)

Very gentle at pH 5–6
