Black castor oil

Black Castor Oil, also known as Jamaican Black Castor Oil (JBCO), is a natural, nutrient-rich vegetable oil extracted from the roasted seeds of the castor plant (Ricinus communis). Unlike regular castor oil, which is cold-pressed from raw seeds, Black Castor Oil is produced by roasting the beans first, then pressing them to release the dark, thick oil.

This traditional process gives it its characteristic dark color, strong earthy aroma, and higher ash content, which enhances its ability to stimulate hair growth, moisturize dry scalp, and repair damaged hair follicles.
