Paraffin Wax is a refined, cosmetic-grade wax used for its excellent occlusive and protective properties. It creates a barrier that helps seal in moisture and protect the skin from external elements. Ideal for formulating lip balms, hand salves, barrier creams, and spa-grade wax treatments.

Usage Rate: 1% – 100%

(Used as a base in balms, barrier creams, or for candle making)

Melting Point: 45°C – 65°C (varies by grade)

Solubility: Oil-soluble / Insoluble in water

Function:

Acts as an occlusive barrier to lock in moisture

Adds structure, thickness, and shine to balms and creams

Forms a protective layer over skin or lips

Commonly used in spa treatments for softening hands and feet

Also used in candle, polish, and wax lproduct manufacturing

Compatibility:

Compatible with oils, butters, and other waxes

Not suitable for water-based formulations
