Description

Montanov™ 68 MB is a natural, PEG-free emulsifier derived from sugar (glucose) and vegetable oils. It forms stable oil-in-water (O/W) emulsions with a soft, velvety feel and excellent skin compatibility. It’s ideal for natural and organic formulations and supports liquid crystal structure, which improves hydration and long-term moisture retention.

Recommended: 4% – 8%

Light lotions: 4% – 5%

Thick creams: 6% – 8%

⚗️Formulation Notes

Add to oil phase, heat to 70–75°C

Combine with water phase and homogenize

Final product pH range: 4.5 – 8

Compatible with a wide variety of oils and actives

Can emulsify up to 25–30% oils, depending on formulation

Works well with fatty alcohols, thickeners, and humectants
